About Us

Colorado AANHPI for Action is an informal coalition of AANHPI-serving (Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander) organizations. We elevate the work of our community through collaboration, breakdown internal and external siloes, and create a Colorado landscape that our friends, families, and loved ones can thrive in no matter their ethnic background, religion, immigration status, sexuality, and more. Our work materializes in the form of cohesive community responses to issues pertinent to AANHPI groups, convenings for organizations to connect and maximize their impact, and a platform to connect our communities to resources.

It is important to note that there are hundreds of ethnicities, languages, and cultures under the AANHPI umbrella. Because of the diversity of our community, we recognize it is not possible to represent all issues but seek to elevate voices that have been historically underrepresented. We will also always lean towards social justice and work for the liberation of all marginalized groups, not just our own.
